From the 2nd April 2012 we are making it even easier to get Credit Union Travel Insurance. This is available on a Individual, Couple or Family (2 Adults + children) basis and cover can be for weekly, fortnightly, monthly or longer term trips.
The schemes offer a wide range of cover and are underwritten by Ace Insurance.

Loan Insurance
Loan Protection Insurance is payable on the death of an eligible member, subject to certain
restrictions on balance limits, loan and interest balances being cleared, leaving no liability
attached to the estate of a deceased member.
This means that members do not have to be worried about leaving debts to their loved ones
in the event of untimely death, or serious accident.
Life Savings Insurance
Life Savings Insurance is payable on the death of the eligible member, subject to policy terms and conditions. Generally the full value of the member's shares is considered for the calculation of cover.
Key Points To Be Aware Of:
- The maximum cover on shares/deposits is €12,700.
